A 1960-70's dramatic 4 strand necklace and dangle pierced earrings of elephants carved of bone/ivory with black and chrome beads is being offered for your consideration. The safari, animal prints are back in style and this set is just the thing to accent those ensembles in your wardrobe! The set is in excellent condition and is unsigned. The earrings drop 1 1/4 inches from the base of the hook and the necklace measures 32 inches long and consists of chrome metal beads, black beads which appear to be a light weight dyed wood in both round and cylinder shapes and elephants which are carved out of what I believe to be polished bone (the granddaughter of it's previous owner says she remembers Granny telling her it was ivory). In either case it is a very bold, dramatic vintage demi-parure, sure to be noticed and appreciated by all who have the pleasure to view it! The largest elephant in the necklace measures 1 5/8 by 1 3/8 inches and all 5 elephants have there trunks up, a symbol of good luck, so I am told. A set which will be both fun and a beautiful accent to your spring and summer wardrobe; will work well into the fall season, too!
