Quarter Sawn Mission Oak Three Section Folding Mirror

This 3 section folding mirror would be very nice on top of a dresser or in a bathroom. It may have once been used for a gentleman’s shaving mirror, but could also be used by the lady of the house for applying her make-up. The round beveled glass mirrors are not perfect, but are in good condition. One mirror has a little loss of silvering on the bottom under the beveled edge. There are also some light scratches. What is really striking about this mirror are the Mission / Arts & Crafts style brass hinges. While the brass has been polished, it has not been lacquered and will acquire patina again. The wood has been refinished. The only reason for restoration was because the mirror frame and hinges had been painted over several times. The first set of hinges on the left side were repaired sometime in the past, however they are still functional. The mirror measures 23 ¾ inches long when it is laying flat. It is 9 ¾ inches tall. Insurance will be required for this item.
