These hard to find larger dry sink cupboards with the fifth leg pull-out were made from the late 1800’s to early 1900’s. They have a lot of room for storage. The dry sink area once held an enamelware pan for washing dishes, while the pull-out work surface was used to prepare meals. The top has 2 old wavy glass doors with 2 shelves behind; a door on the side also has an adjustable shelf. There are 4 drawers beneath that door. The bottom has a bin that tilts out and was used to store large bags of flour. The 5th leg pull-out section is nice also. It has a cutting board top that can be used for food prep or as an extra serving area. There are 2 drawers in this section. This section pulls out very smoothly and there are stops on the underside so you can’t accidentally pull it all the way out.

The glass fronted doors are really nice because you can display your favorite kitchen collectibles and textiles. It’s fun to change things around for different seasons and holidays and make the cupboard the focal point of the kitchen.

This cupboard has been professionally restored in our work shop, and is ready for another 100 years of kitchen duty. It has a very durable lacquer finish that would be great for kitchen use. The original tin dry sink insert was worn out from years of daily use. We are fortunate to have a local tinsmith, and he was able to make an exact duplicate to replace the old. This large kitchen cupboard is 83 inches tall, 50 1/2 inches wide and 28 1/2 inches deep with the pull-out in the closed position. For a quote on shipping, please contact Keith Bradshaw @ 828-432-7510. We can also deliver within a 200 mile radius of McComb. Ohio for $1.00 a mile one way. And if you want to come and pick up something, we are easy to find.
