This is a beautiful 2 piece iridescent lamp shade from a Concord NH estate. Circa early 1920s. some rubbed spots noted where the 2 pieces were connected unevenly for some time. No chips, cracks, or restorations noted. Smaller top piece is 8 inches from base to top with the opening being 3.25 inches in diameter. Larger bottom shade is 8.5 inches across with a 3.25 inch diameter opening. Bottom piece measure 5 inches from base to the top opening. Iridescent colors are truly exquisite. Would like to know the following: 1. Is there a specific name for this type of lamp shade? 2. How rare is the item? 3. Any websites that might help me gather more information? 4. Would the shade be more valuable if I had a lamp with it? 5. Do I have the item priced fairly? Thanks for any information. Diane
