Large porcelain figurine hand painted Royal Dux Boy on Donkey with blue and white hat and blue pants and white shirt with gold trimming, 15 1/4”H, 11”L, Base is 4 1/2”W, 9 1/4”L. Beautiful and very detailed. Boy is barefooted with blue pants and white shirt trimmed in gold. Donkey standing over large white leaf cactus plant accented in gold. Mule has blue blinders trimmed in gold, harness is gold and reigns made of a blue material rope. There is a large stick that goes in the boy’s left hand and it is taped under base and never has been used. Has original gold tag on top of base; on bottom has pink triangle mark and blue mark with “Hand Painted Made in Czechoslovakia” in circle around a blue triangle with the Royal Dux acorn. It still has the numbers 22 over 6 imprinted along with 1989. Also has in gold script the number 18. This piece is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, crazing, or repairs. Out of production and no longer made and you do not see very many for sale!
