Mid to late 1960s Southern Methodist University Mustangs game used and worn, durene knit basketball jersey. Made by Sand-Knit, size 44 with Custom tag from Doak Walker Sports Center in Dallas, Texas. Numerals and letters all sewn in 2-ply tackle twill. Worn by Lynn Phillips. Game used with no major damage. BEAUTIFUL NCAA BASKETBALL RELIC! Jersey is made of durene (sometimes spelled dureen). Durene is cotton that is chemically treated to add luster and shine, and to prevent shrinkage and make easier to absorb fabric dyes. BRIGHT and SHINEY! Beautiful jersey!
