1950s Vintage KOOL Cigarettes Advertising Willie and Millie Scatter Pins RARE!

1950s vintage black and white enamel, "Willie and Millie" scatter pins. Willie the Penguin was the advertising character created by Kool Cigarettes. "Millie" was the female penguin counterpart. Her character did not last long, and this is one of only 2 different products featuring the "Millie" image. This is very rare, especially with the original cardboard ad attachment. The Willie character became defunct in 1960. Never used or removed from card. Graphics on card are bright and clear. Printed on card is: "Here we are YOUR WILLIE & MILLIE Scatter Pins! We'll brighten up your dresses, Your suits and sweaters, too, Just the way that KOOLS do brighten Your smoking taste for you! WILLIE THE PENGUIN says: Smoke KOOLS as your steady smoke for that clean, KOOL taste!"

Beyond rare advertising piece. The enamel pins have some minor scratches, otherwise this set is BEAUTIFUL! The actual pins measure approximately 1 inch each. The display card measures 6.25 inches x 2.75, with some small creases. If you collect cigarette memorabilia, you may not see this again!
