This painted wooden shelf dates from the early 1900s. It has three shelves which slot into the side bearers and are held in place by wedges at each end. It appears to have had a few coats of different coloured paints, but could be stripped back to the original wood or left in the very pale duck egg blue paint which coats it at present. The structural condition is good with only some chipping to the paint work as seen in the photo. It can be attached to a wall via loops on each side as it is quite light. It measures 72cm (28¼ inches) in height, 69cm (27 inches) in width and 14cm (5½ inches) in depth and weighs 2kg.
