This lovely duo - almost demitasse size - was produced by Royal Worcester of England. .Its white ground has the softest pale green with gold trim on the handle, foot and rims. The red printed backstamp has a crown atop a circle with "WWWW C51" inside, then "Royal Worcester England", a star and three dots – which date these pieces to 1919. Hand painted numbers in orange "8820". Condition is very good. There are no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs – just the normal three kiln stilt marks on the base ridge, which occurred in the manufacturing. Measurements for the cup are: height 5cm (2 inches) and diameter 8cm (3 1/8 inches); and the saucer is 12.5cm (5 inches) in diameter.
