Webb Corbett glassworks in Stourbridge, England produced this beautiful candlestick c1930-1947. Webb Corbett were one of the premier glass and crystal manufacturers in, England until being bought out by Royal Doulton, who still manufacture their designs. This piece has a facet cut edge to the drip rim; six thumbprints above two-pronged fans with a knop on the stem; and a star and fan pattern has been cut on the base. The etched trademark on the base edge reads: "Webb Corbett, Made in England" in a half-circle. It measures 10cm (4 inches) in height and 10.5cm (4 1/8 inches) in diameter. Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or repairs.
