MZ Czechoslovakia Floral Cabinet Plate

This stunning floral display plate was produced by MZ (Moritz Zdekauer) in Czechoslovakia prior to WWII. This company was owned by Hutschenreuther from 1909-1945. The white china base centerpiece has a spray of over-glaze painted flowers surrounded by a deep blue band with floral motifs in gold and gold trim around the scalloped rim - lovely gilding on this piece. The green printed backstamp reads: "M Z Czechoslovakia" and has a picture of an eagle. This mark was in use from 1918-1939. This lovely large plate measures 26cm (10¼ inches) across and is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. It has obviously been a treasured plate kept only for display.
