Boxed Royal Crown Derby Posies Creamer Jug

This beautifully decorated jug was produced by the Royal Crown Derby Porcelain Co. - one of the Staffordshire Potteries in England - in the ever popular "Derby Posies" pattern.

The white base china has flowers of pink, yellow, blue, mauve, iron-red and green foliage and has been finished with gilding around the moulded and fluted edges.

This dainty jug is 7cm (2¾ inches) in height and 8cm (3 1/8 inches) in width (handle to spout). The red printed back-stamp on the base reads "Derby China, Royal Crown Derby, English Bone China, Derby Posies". Iron-red printed roman numerals "XXXVI" indicate that this piece was made in 1973.

This highly collectable creamer is in excellent condition and comes with its original box.
