The Royal Doulton glassworks in England produced this elegant handmade crystal ships decanter to commemorate the 1987 America's Cup held in Perth, Australia. It originally contained a special blend of White Horse Whisky, but sadly this has long gone.

A horse has been etched on top of the stopper. An outline of the America's Cup Trophy is etched on the body of the bowl, along with the words "America's Cup, Perth, Australia 1987". The base has been etched with the words: "Produced Exclusively for White Horse Distillers by Royal Doulton to commemorate the America's Cup 1987".

This rare piece comes in it's own presentation box, which is inscribed: "White Horse, America's Cup, Perth, Australia 1987 – Handmade Crystal Ship's Decanter by Royal Doulton® - containing 75cl. White Horse America's Cup Scotch Whisky, Limited Edition Special Blend".

Condition is excellent, just like new. Measurements are: Height 22cm (8 5/8 inches), Diameter 15.5cm (6 1/8 inches).

This is a stunning commemorative piece of Royal Doulton.
