This expertly crafted Mother of Pearl (MOP) and gold wire brooch was made in 1906 at the Christchurch Exhibition by a jeweler who had a stand there. It is in the shape of a leaf with letter "F" being worked in the gold wire. I was assured by the previous owner that another jeweler has advised the gold wire to be 24ct. This brooch is in very good condition with not even any signs of wear. Measurements are 3cm (1¼ inches) by 3cm (1¼ inches).
