Mother of Pearl & Gold Wire Brooch, Letter O

This expertly crafted Mother of Pearl (MOP) and gold wire brooch was made in 1913 at the Auckland Exhibition by a jeweler who had a stand there. It is in the shape of a crescent with letter "O" being worked in the gold wire. I was told by the previous owner a jeweler had advised the gold wire to be 24ct.

This brooch is in very good condition with not even any signs of wear. Measurements are 4.5cm (1¾ inches) by 4cm (1½ inches).
