This design was introduced in 1937. Dishes came in 10 different luster colours, which took four firings to produce - this made them expensive to manufacture. Moulded leaves surround the bowl which sits on a stem and spreads out to a circular base.
The green lustre has gold edging around the bowl and base, with minimal rubbing. The underside of each dish bears the Maling mark used in the 1930s. Height; 3½ inches (9cm) and diameter; 4¼ inches (11cm). All dishes are in very good condition - no chips, cracks or repairs.
These pieces would be superb for use or display!
