Highly Detailed and Magnificent this Unusual Guilloche and Sterling Pastoral Scene Cigarette or Card Case is in the most luscious shade of Rich Meadow Green with Ivory Edges. The Silver Overlay Scroll Work is just an added touch of beauty to an already perfect looking piece. The finely painted bucolic pastoral scene dates this to the late 1800s and is made of Sterling Silver. The mark on the inside looks like it says Made in Austria, but is just a drop too faded to be 100% sure. It measures 3 1/8 inches by 2 1/16 inches and is in amazing condition for a piece of this age, with no noticeable chipping on the delicate guilloche finish. This was one of those pieces that I just could not pass up, I don't think I have seen anything this beautiful in a while, and I don't usually buy this type of object, but when something calls to you, you don't let it go.
