Delicate Plique a Jour Filigree Wire Work and Enamel Bracelet

As per Kovel's, Plique a Jour is an enameling process. The enamel is laid between thin raised metal lines and heated. The finished piece has transparent enamel held between the thin metal wires. This Delicate Plique a Jour filigree Wire Work Bracelet is done in Green and Blue. The very fine wire work is incredibly detailed and beautiful. When you hold this up, you can see the light through the enameling. The eight link bracelet has a push in clasp closure and is very sturdy despite it's dainty looks. It measures 7" closed. A very fine Vintage piece, more than likely European in origin.
