REDUCED Very Vintage Goofus Glass Brooch with Roses on the Vine

I just love where the tern Goofus Glass came from, it was a method of glass that didn't work too well, so they called it Goofus! Well, it did work fine for jewelry, just not for plates and dishes. This wonderful old brooch is on a gilt covered wood base with carved Roses on a Vine covered with Glass. The back is a "C" Clasp which dates it to 1920 or earlier. There is some slight scratching to the surface of the glass which one would expect with a piece that has been loved this long. It measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/8".
