This plate has all the earmarks of a hand painted Limoges plate except the mark. It has the heavy molding and scalloped edge, beautiful colors, and the webbing design in two places. The plate is expertly hand painted with vivid pink flowers nestled against green leaves. The ground is a skillful blend of blue, yellow and violet. The artist used the wipe out technique on the flowers and was very talented. The detail is absolutely wonderful and this would make a great addition to any collection - ( L= 10.25 H= 1.13 W= 10.25 inches )
