This gorgeous "HOBE" Vermeil on Sterling Silver Floral Design Brooch has a Book Value of over $400.00. The back is signed Hobe 1/20th 14k on Sterling and Design Patented. It was patented in 1944 with the number 138933. This intricately designed massive brooch is a wonderful addition to any serious collector's collection. It is also one of the more striking pieces I have seen to wear. I have not polished the vermeil covered silver as I kind of like that older look, but this would polish up into a brilliant gleaming brooch if that is what you wanted. Brooch measures just over 3" x 3"
