Antique Butter Pat Hand Painted over Transfer

This lovely old square English pottery Butter Pat is 3" square with an interesting relief molded, beaded border all around the rim. It is transfer printed with a wild flower motif in brown, and then hand painted in shades of blue grey. It is not marked, but I believe it to be a Staffordshire made piece from England C1880 - 1910. The condition is excellent except for light crazing, which is to be expected with pottery this old and only adds character. Square butter pats are quite hard to find, and I have 4 of these, each one unique and listed separately.
