Fine China & Porcelain, Transferware, Glass, Sewing Collectibles, Victorian Treasures & Small & Precious Items for Your Home.
This lovely Victorian porcelain plate is beautifully shaped, with a relief molded design of scrolls, or perhaps waves around the rim. It has been hand painted by a very talented artist, but unfortunately it is not signed. The big, full blown yellow Roses are so well painted that you can almost smell the fragrance, and the detail is excellent, with the delicate young Rosebuds and every thorn on the stems. The background is nicely blended in tones of yellow, pink, green and blue. This plate measures 8 1/4" across and has two holes in the foot so that it can be easily hung on the wall. The condition is excellent with no damage of any sort, a delightful piece of Victorian porcelain to add to your decor. Please be sure to click on photo for enlargement and more pictures so that you can really enjoy this lovely piece. Thank you for shopping with us and please take a minute or two to check out some of our other treasures, and our sister shop, Fox and Hounds, which you can find by clicking on the link at the top of my home page.
