This is quite an impressive Art Deco black lacquer smoking set. It has a covered tobacco jar, an ash tray with removable liner and a holder for box matches, all sitting on a very nice oval tray with Deco stepped handles. As a nice contrast to the black lacquer, it is decorated with long flowing leaves in soft bronze, gold, dusty peach and tan. The tray measures 14 3/4" long and 6 7/8" across, the tobacco jar is 3 3/4" wide by 5 1/4" tall, match holder 1 1/4" tall by 2" wide and the ash tray 4 1/4" wide by 3" tall. It is in good condition with normal wear except for the plastic liner for the ash tray, which has been repaired. I think you will be able to see all this in the pictures.
