Brass Basketweave Trinket Box with Beveled Peekaboo Lid

This dainty little Trinket Box, is brass in a basketweave design . It features a nicely beveled peekaboo lid, hand set in a brass bezel. Loops of brass form the three feet and the clasp, which still works well and is nice and tight. The bottom of the box is leatherette lined with an amber brown silk. It measures 2 1/8" long, by 2" wide, and stands 1 1/4" high, the condition is excellent with no damage of any sort, from the 1930s or earlier.
