About Us
I specialize in unique hand-beaded jewelry using semi-precious gems as well as pearls, czech glass and gold and silver beads. I create each unique piece by hand. I continually scour the world - sometimes in person - sometimes from afar - to find unique and exotic beads which I then combine into unusual bold designs you won't find anywhere else! Are you looking for just the right item to give as a gift or for a special event? I gladly accept custom orders! I am now producing jewelry items made of Precious Metal Clay!!!
Precious Metal Clay (PMC) is a relatively new material, developed in 1993. It is thousands of tiny particles that are suspended in an organic binder. This material feels, looks and acts just like clay, and can be molded, shaped and carved in virtually any way possible. It is then dried, then fired in a kiln. The binder and the moisture burn away during firing, and you are left with a piece that is .999 silver, or Fine Silver. It is then polished to either a matte, satin or mirror finish. Stay tuned as I add more pieces made of this exciting material!
