Small Sized Early Camphor Trunk

Small China trade Camphor wood chest/trunk. The chest has a brass bound top edge with fancy brass rosettes and ring hardware on each end. Primitive outside dovetail. Brass keyhole escutcheon on the front. Full length open till inside. The surface condition is very good. The top is slightly warped and a bit off kilter. The chest measures 22”w x 12 3/8”h x 14”d. It has that wonderful smell of camphor when opened.
