Ferdinand Pautrot 1832-1874 Listed French artist sculptor.Pautrot is world renowned for his animalier sculpture .This heart warming bronze is so full of life & natural action! Every where you look on this bronze is movement, true naturalistic flow is incredible. The birds have excellent fine detail. The gold gilding makes this sculpture even more elaborate. The condition is very good & as you might be able to see in the pictures each piece is assembled in sections. It has a slight bit of oxidation going on in the seams & small spots .This truly is a part of the past ,Signed on the base “F.Pautrot” Measuring 13” Long x 8” Wide x 13” High.
