Hair Work Brooch with Pearls and Stones, a lovely unusual design for a hair work brooch, this brooch dates form the late 19th century it is a wonderful oval shape, and is tested 14K gold by the gemologist, the beautiful oval shape is surrounded on the outer edge by black cut faceted stones which are possibly jet and then the next row closer to the bezel little tiny pearls in an off white almost grayish tint, the hair work inside is a combination of beautiful rich brown and blond, and it is toped off by a beveled glass, it has a simple C clasp and is in very good condition, Measures: 1 ¼”x1”.
