Large vintage oval amethyst set in a gorgeous 18KT yellow gold. The amethyst itself is of a very fine quality, deep purple in color with no flaws. The ring mounting is solid 18KT gold in a bold floral design. The amethyst appears to be floating in the gold prongs that look like plant tendrils all the way around. Excellent vintage condition.
