Hand-sculpted .999 Fine Silver & Turquoise Turtle Pendant & Stone Necklace

The beautiful necklace is made with one of my hand-sculpted, original .999 Fine Silver turtle pendants. I made the turtle pendant from PMC3 (precious metal clay) and fired it in a kiln until all the binder was burned away leaving a .999 Fine Silver pendant. I set the pendant with a hand-worked, natural, 13.5 ct Stone Mountain Turquoise cabochon from the Stone Mountain Mine in Northern Nevada. The pendant measures 1 3/4" x 1 1/4" and weighs 13.5 grams. I hallmarked the back of the pendant ".999" (although it was a shallow impression and does not show up very well) and initialed and dated it. I strung the pendant on a necklace of dyed and stabilized Magnesite beads and Sterling Silver beads on nylon coated stainless steel wire. The length of the necklace is 21" including a pretty patterned Sterling Silver hook clasp.
