This fun necklace is made with an older, "A" grade, natural, Burmese Jadeite carved horse pendant. I found the horse pendant at a local antique show. The horse measures 3/4" at the highest by 1 1/2" at the widest by 1/4" thick. The Jade pendant has some natural inclusion lines. The bail on the horse is not marked or tested so I am not sure of the metal content (although in my opinion it has at least some gold content because it has not aged the way brass usually does). I strung the horse pendant with natural blue Lapis (with Pyrite inclusion) beads, pink Rhodonite beads, yellow heart-shaped Aragonite beads, and some assorted Jadeite beads on nylon coated stainless steel wire. The necklace measures 19 1/2" including a gold filled lobster clasp.
