Fine .999 Silver Hand-Sculpted Rustic Deer Head Pendant on Sterling Silver Chain

This is a hand-sculpted, pure fine silver (.999) rustic Deer Head pendant. I sculpted the original piece from polymer clay and used the original sculpture to make a mold. This pendant was made by filling the mold with fine silver clay (PMC3) which was then kiln fired at 1400 degrees to burn away the binder and result in a pure (.999) silver pendant. The pendant is antiqued and hand finished. This pendant is initialed and dated by me, and hallmarked ".999". Fine Silver has a higher silver content than Sterling which is ,925.Pure fine silver tarnishes less, and wears better for people with sensitive skin. Fine silver is considered to be softer than Sterling, however my pendants are fired and worked to optimize hardness and should last for many years. This pendant measures about 1" x 1 1/8" and weighs 15 grams. The length of the Sterling Silver chain is 20 1/2" including a Sterling Silver lobster clasp.
