This land corner really exists! This painting depicts a wonderful and very romantic situated old house on the coast of the Como Lake, by Nesso, in Italy. I am always fascinated when I am on holiday at the Como Lake, one of my favorite places.

The old stone walls are superb and the small Saint Statue in the niche too. I believe the house has its own chapel.

The painting is well done with nice light effects. Signed E. Dietel (unfortunately I could not find any information about the artist) and painted around 1900.

Very good condition, some small painting loss on the border, probably form a former frame.

Measurements: 11.8 x 8.8 inches. Unframed.
