The feature of this necklace and earrings set is the unusual 52x19mm rectangle Murano Pendant with it's almost opaque black background and a fun raised white swirl atop. The pendant hangs from a sterling silver bail and on either side of the necklace are the following accompanying beads: White Cloud 7mm square beads, 8mm Montana glass roundels, bright sterling silver 4mm roundels, and 23x12mm vintage engraved chalk white oval tablets. The finishing touch is the sterling silver 10mm simple round toggle clasp. The matching earrings contain the same elements as the necklace and drop from sterling silver French ear wires.

The necklace measures 18 1/2" including clasp but not including the length of the pendant and bail, which is 2 1/2".

I was fascinated by the white cloud squares with their partial opaque white and clear color which seem to reflect the somewhat opaqueness of the black on the pendant and the not quite black color of the Montana glass beads. The unity and uniqueness of this necklace is quite an eye-popper. Of course, as said before, basic black and white is a must for any jewelry collection!
