This unique pendant was found in an antique store and I decided to create a necklace that would complement the gold color and the faceted green stone that is in the center of the pendant. The pendant drops from between two 6mm Swarovski emerald bicone crystals. Following the bicones is a 25mm gold-filled twist curved tube bead with the same pattern after that. Then there are several groups of 4mm Swarovski emerald bicones with a 3mm gold-filled round bead between every three crystals, interrupted by four 8mm slightly oval Druk glass beads with Vermeil bead caps surrounding each. A continuation of the crystals and gold-filled beads leads to the Rhodium plated vine hook clasp. The earrings have the same elements as the necklace and drop from gold-filled coiled ear wires.

The length of the necklace is 18" including clasp. The pendant drops 1 3/4" from the necklace.

A sparkly necklace wasn't my intent but it just seemed fitting to create something that would emphasize the faceted emerald colored stone in the pendant. I think it is quite striking on the neck (it drapes beautifully!) and could be worn not only with evening clothes but with several other outfits that could use some glitz! Nowadays, anything goes as far as accessorizing.
