This pendant is indescribable ~ it's shape might be called shark tooth. The shape plus the gorgeous blend of blues,grays and black make it a very unique and quite beautiful piece. I used a sterling silver bail to attach it to the rest of the necklace. There are a number of Labradorite disk beads which with their iridescence do a wonderful job of reflecting the beautiful Amazonite blue. There are Amazonite 6x9mm drum beads which are separated by Hill Tribe short tube beads with 7mm Smoky Quartz rounds separating them. Following these beads are 6mm Mint Alabaster faceted round beads separated by the same Hill Tribe tubes and Smoky Quartz beads up to the sterling silver Celtic design "S" hook clasp. The matching earrings contain 6mm Onyx round beads at both ends with Hill Tribe tubes and an Amazonite drum bead between. These beads drop from French ear wires.

The length of this luscious necklace is 20 3/4" including clasp. The earrings drop 1 1/8" from the ear wires.

The color of blue in Amazonite is so beautiful (my favorite color!) and being able to complement the pendant with other gemstones and silver was one of those exhilarating moments for me as a jewelry artisan. Not necessarily unique in design, it is still a striking piece of jewelry to add to your collection.
