Antique 2 Gallon Salt Glazed Whiskey Jug

This wheel thrown 2 gallon whiskey jug displays nicely. It was probably produced around 1900 and has an impressed 2 indicating the capacity and an excised line right below where the applied handle attaches. There are firing marks on on side and on the handle where it sat too close to a kiln mate.

It is in overall fine condition. There are no chips. There is spider crazing that appears to be in the surface only and a small defect on the side from the firing process. The jug stands 14 and 1/2 inches tall and is 9 inches in diameter.

I prefer to use FedEx Home delivery but the Ruby Lane calculator does not have that option so I use the UPS Ground option.
