Our selection of American Art Pottery, lamps, and vintage collectibles reflects our personal fascination for collecting.
These silk panels were kept rolled and probably date to the period they traveled in the Orient. They are nice Mid Century examples of the silk embroidery art that is known as Suzhou embroidery and are ready to mount on a scroll or to be framed singly or as a triptych.
As they have never been displayed, the colors are crisp and bright. They are tissue paper backed as they came from the shop. Each panel is 15 inches wide and 23 inches tall.
Each panel is shown in full with a close-up (The first image is the close-up for the second panel). The panels have not been pressed flat and the variation in the background silk is due to different light reflection in these natural sunlight images.
I would rather sell them as a group but I will sell individually for $55.00 each.
