MCM Bauer Speckled Blue Casserole with Frame

This speckled blue casserole by Bauer is in near mint condition. I can see no evidence that it was ever used. There are no cracks, chips, repairs, or crazing on the pottery. There is a glazed over indentation spot on the bottom rim that is the only production flaw that I can find. The brass plated frame has a few tarnish spots which is the only reason not to call the set mint. The dark spot on the frame in the second picture is a reflection and not tarnish.

I believe this is the 1 and 1/2 quart size and the bowl measures 8 and 1/2 inches in diameter. The frame is 12 inches, handle to handle.
