We are suckers for a nice hand painted plate. This little beauty is from J & C Bavaria and this mark was used at the turn of the last century. The plate is also artist initialed, M.J. This artist did a wonderful job in depicting 5 red rose flowers and 5 rose buds that sprout from a vine that encircles the plate.

There are some usage marks on the design, but there are no chips, cracks, repairs, or stains. The plate is just over 6 inches in diameter and well marked with the crossed clovers and J&C ink stamp and the hand signed initials.
