This is an all original, unrestored, 1952 Western Electric telephone in classic black and the body is in excellent intact condition. There is some expected wear around the handset holder, but there are no chips, cracks, or repairs. The dial where the numbers and letters (all are intact) shows some expected wear as does the finger wheel. The return mechanism on the dial is slow and needs a finger assist to return. I suspect this could be repaired or use it as a non-dialing extension (or just use that finger powered return). This phone is untested, but I see no reason why it won't work fine with the addition of a cord (available at Radio Shack, they will even install it for you).
The bottom of the base has some paint loss and wear while the 4 rubber pad feet are present and intact. The printing on the bottom is hard to make out in places but I believe it reads: C/D 500 ?/52 and lower down WOR 666.
Shipping will be $15.50 to the lower 48 states. Other destinations at cost.
