R. Atkinson Fox Original Print, Midnight and Roses 14 by 18

This is an original R. Atkinson Fox print directly from the original purchaser estate in Baton Rouge. I believe the title is Midnight and Roses. The size of the print is 14 by 18 inches and appears to have been slightly cut down to fit in the period and original frame (I have seen other Fox prints in this frame). The print was published by the Borin Manufacturing Company, Chicago.

The condition of the print is excellent. I removed the old non-acid free backing and photographed the print in natural sunlight. The framed image is behind the glass and some reflection is apparent in the glass. The glass appears to be the original wavy glass. The frame has gilding and a blue border that matches the blue in the print well.
