Camark 12 &1/2 inches Tall 163 Twist Vase in Aqua

This is one of the more artistically designed pieces of Camark from their "middle" period. This is a production vase, given the designation of # 163, but very well done. It should have a Camark paper label, but like so many, it has been long washed away. It can be seen in a catalog page in the second Gifford Camark book on page 212.

This vase stands an impressive 12 and 1/2 inches tall with a well designed and executed "twist" to the piece. It is glazed in a high gloss aqua glaze that is a bit thin and mottled on 1 side (fourth side picture). There is also a glaze pop. Otherwise, there are no chips, cracks, or repairs. I can not detect any crazing either.
