Bittersweet Antiques presents this rare Roseville #718 umbrella stand. It is not marked but it is pictured on a Factory page in the Bomm book, "Roseville in all its Splendor" on page 381. It is definitely Art Nouveau with sweeping, sensual forms of flowers and blended glazing. The umbrella stand is 22 inches tall with a 9 inch opening, hence its catalog listing of 718 9X22. This Haeger flower frog is 3 inches in diameter and stands on 3 feet; one of which has a flake that is not visible when upright. This frog has the early diamond Haeger mark and is know as the No. 8 shape in the early catalogs. This one has a nice two tone glaze of a light lime green on top and a darker green on the side.
