SALE Brush-McCoy Brown Onyx 8 &1/2 inch 060 Vase

$55 USD SaleSALE Brush-McCoy Brown Onyx 8 &1/2 inch 060 Vase

Pottery:Brush-mccoy
This is a nice example of a Brush 060 vase in brown onyx glaze. The vase stands almost 8 and 1/2 inches tall and is free of cracks and repairs. It does have a small nick in the base and does have some crazing. There are a few factory pops and a bit of extra clay on the side that gave an interesting effect to the glaze. It is not marked, but is not supposed to be and can be seen in the Sanford Brush-McCoy Book 1 in green onyx on page 47. An excellent example in brown! The last picture shows the ...

$450 USD SaleSALE Brush-McCoy Jewel 030 Candlestick 7 inches Type 2 Mint!

Pottery:Brush-mccoy
We present for the discriminating Brush-McCoy collector, this absolutely gorgeous Jewel 030 Candlestick. This is the 7 inch high example in the Type 2 glaze treatment. The Brush-McCoy Stone Art line was one of the more intense hand manipulated lines that the company produced. First the molded blanks were high-fired to produce a very durable product. Then the items were hand decorated by a squeeze bag method, taking several hours each to complete before the second firing. Two glaze types were ...

Early Brush McCoy Pierced Ring Jug in Blended Colors

Pottery:Brush-mccoy
This Brush McCoy pierced jug is in blended browns and green. The jug is not marked but can be seen in any Brush McCoy book. The jug is complete with its top and music box. The box does not play the expected "How Dry I Am" and "The Blue Danube" and instead plays a tune I do not recognize. It also uses what I believe to be the earliest method of holding the box in place that consists of a metal band that fits into slots. It stands 10 and 1/2 inches tall and 8 inches wide. It is in excellent ...

Still displays nicely.
