Pottery:American Bisque
This pitcher is clearly made by American Bisque, with its wooden barrel design and flower decoration. However, this is the first one I have seen with an ice lip. The pitcher is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. It stands 5 and 3/4 inches tall and 7 and 1/4 inches from spout to handle.
SALE Early American Ohio Fern Dish in Majolica Glaze

$45 USD SaleSALE Early American Ohio Fern Dish in Majolica Glaze

Pottery:American
We have been unable to definitively identify this low bowl that is probably intended to be a fern dish. We think it is an Ohio river pottery product, but which one, we have been unable to identify. The bowl is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. There are double stilt marks on the bottom with some associated glaze loss as it came from the factory. There is some age appropriate wear and rubs on the bottom rim. There are 4 acanthus leaf cartouches around the outside and it is ...

This is a marvelous Mid-Century Modern table lamp by C. Miller that was produced in 1956 as indicated by the copyright mark and date on the back. The lamp has been our bedside lamp for a number of years and is in excellent condition and working order. The lamp is in the form of a Mississippi side paddle river boat. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. The gold highlights are in excellent condition as well, from the "water" to the top. The electrical items are original and it does have a non ...

This is a 1970s-80s era Robinson Ransbottom porch jardiniere in a nice matte blue glaze. The jardiniere stands 10 and 1/2 inches tall and has a 10 and 1/2 inch top diameter. Just below the top rim is a Greek key design broken by a stylized handle and ring. Below that is a stylized grape bunch and vine as a swag on a pebbled background. There is a dry foot and a circle that could be punched out for drainage. The bottom is marked with an incised USA. The matte blue glaze has some glaze pops as ...

Bittersweet Antiques presents this circa 1950's Modern Vase. This is a large vase standing just over 12 inches tall and a 4 by 7 inch top opening suitable for a splay of flowers or feather plumes. I do not know the maker but it has been suggested Red Wing. It is marked by hand inscription "993" over "Made in USA" with a possible "DS" monogram.. The vase has a matte gray exterior with a white splatter in a large pattern over it. The interior has a clear overglaze that is crazed. No chips cracks ...

SALE Mountainside Pottery Cast Angelfish Figural Clock

$100 USD SaleSALE Mountainside Pottery Cast Angelfish Figural Clock

Pottery:American
We are delighted to offer this figural slip ware clock from a seldom seen pottery. Mountainside Art Pottery was located in Mountainside, New Jersey. John Kovacs, who was associated with Rutgers apparently both as a ceramics professor and a member of the Rutgers University Ceramics Club, founded the pottery in 1929 which was in business only until 1940 or 1941. There is not much available information on the pottery. The verified Mountainside pieces consist of wheel thrown art ware similar to ...
