SALE 19thC Chinese Porcelain Export Kendi Qing Dynasty bottle with Tongzhi mark

$85 USD SaleSALE 19thC Chinese Porcelain Export Kendi Qing Dynasty bottle with Tongzhi mark

Porcelain:Antique:Chinese Export
Fresh from a local estate, we present this Chinese export porcelain kendi bottle. This was produced for export right before or after 1900 and intended to be used for serving sauces or extracts such as soy sauce. The kendi is marked with a red oxide stamped mark that appears to be a Tongzhi mark in zhuanshu script, commonly used during the Guangxu period. Earlier period marks were sometimes used to make the piece seem older than it is. The body is hand decorated in a flower and katydid motif ...
SALE J & C Bavaria c1900 Art Nouveau HP Rose Entwined Plate

$35 USD SaleSALE J & C Bavaria c1900 Art Nouveau HP Rose Entwined Plate

Porcelain:Bavaria
We are suckers for a nice hand painted plate. This little beauty is from J & C Bavaria and this mark was used at the turn of the last century. The plate is also artist initialed, M.J. This artist did a wonderful job in depicting 5 red rose flowers and 5 rose buds that sprout from a vine that encircles the plate. There are some usage marks on the design, but there are no chips, cracks, repairs, or stains. The plate is just over 6 inches in diameter and well marked with the crossed clovers and J&C ...
SALE Japanese Taisho Fine Porcelain Saucer, Butterflies Flowers

$20 USD SaleSALE Japanese Taisho Fine Porcelain Saucer, Butterflies Flowers

Porcelain:Japan
This fine porcelain china saucer has unfortunately been separated from the cup. It is still a fine small work of art. It was made in Japan, probably the Yokohama area, for export. The saucer is 5 and 1/2 inches in diameter. I can find nothing wrong with this saucer; no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is little wear on the bottom and minimal to no wear on the top. It is fine porcelain as demonstrated by its translucency.

$95 USD19th Century Chinese Porcelain Export Tea or Wine Pot Qing Dynasty

Porcelain:Antique:Chinese Export
Fresh from a local estate, we present this Chinese export porcelain tea or wine pot. This was produced for export before 1900 and is not marked as is to be expected on these export items. The body is hand decorated in a flower and katydid motif known as famille rose. It stands 6 inches to the tip of the top's finial. There is some use associated damage. There several small chips along the bottom rim that do not show when upright. The is a bit of roughness around the spout tip. There is an area ...
SALE Harmony House Tiger Lily Dessert Set for 6

$100 USD SaleSALE Harmony House Tiger Lily Dessert Set for 6

Porcelain:Usa
The Salem China Company made this Harmony House dinnerware pattern called Tiger Lily. In this dessert combination, there are 6 cups and saucers, 8 bread and butter plates, creamer and sugar with lid, and a 8 inch bowl. All pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. To put this set together from Replacements would cost you over $250 (and they don't have the creamer and sugar).
SALE MCM Bauer Speckled Blue Casserole with Frame

$45 USD SaleSALE MCM Bauer Speckled Blue Casserole with Frame

Porcelain:Bauer
This speckled blue casserole by Bauer is in near mint condition. I can see no evidence that it was ever used. There are no cracks, chips, repairs, or crazing on the pottery. There is a glazed over indentation spot on the bottom rim that is the only production flaw that I can find. The brass plated frame has a few tarnish spots which is the only reason not to call the set mint. The dark spot on the frame in the second picture is a reflection and not tarnish. I believe this is the 1 and 1/2 quart ...
