Bittersweet Antiques presents this oil on canvas of a Haitian scene by CR Wilson. The painting is signed and dated in the lower left corner. The numbers look to me to be 53, which I take to be 1953. The canvas showing in the frame is 29 and 1/2 by 38 inches. The frame appears original and has a back frame of 1 by 2 wood to give the frame dimension from the wall. Then there is the painting.
