SALE Carnival Chalk Ware 16 in Lady & Dogs Statue

$65 USD SaleSALE Carnival Chalk Ware 16 in Lady & Dogs Statue

Collectibles:Vintage:Chalkware
This is the largest carnival chalk statue my daughter has in her collection. She was lucky enough to find 2 of these 16 inch tall "Lady with 2 Dogs" and is willing to part with this one. This statue has good detail from a fresh mold. There are at least seven colors used in her air-brushed decoration. Her long auburn hair is swept back as if she is facing a breeze. She has a wide, teeth showing smile on her detailed face. Her flowing gown is air-brushed in blue and green. She is holding one dog ...
SALE Antique Eastlake Mortise Door Lock c1900

$25 USD SaleSALE Antique Eastlake Mortise Door Lock c1900

Collectibles:Vintage:Hardware
This mortise door lock in the Eastlake style has an unusual design. There is a setback where the lock would meet the door jamb. The lock was made by MV & Co. Although I could not find much information on MV & Co, they were in business as early as 1864. This lock was probably made around 1900. The mechanism works fine but I do not have a key to check the dead bolt. There is an Eastlake style decoration in the brass. I applied some 3-in-1 oil on it to bring out the design for the picture. The ...
SALE 8 Vintage Chicago "Triplex" Spring Hinges New Old Stock

$45 USD SaleSALE 8 Vintage Chicago "Triplex" Spring Hinges New Old Stock

Collectibles:Vintage:Hardware
These 8 spring loaded hinges were made by the Chicago Spring Hinge Company. I was not able to find much information on the Company, but I did find reference to a 1924 catalog and a genealogy that indicated they were open in the early 1950s. As the name implies, they manufactured spring loaded hinges for self closing doors. These 8 hinges are New Old Stock and have never been used. Some of them are still wrapped in tissue paper. The included instruction sheet identifies them as "Triplex" Spring ...
SALE Bright Foil Art Tray for Use or Display

$50 USD SaleSALE Bright Foil Art Tray for Use or Display

Collectibles:Vintage:Trays
For your consideration, Bittersweet Antiques presents this Foil Art Tray. Currently the tray is wired for hanging from the wall for display. Removal of the eye hooks and wire would return it to tray use. Overall measures 13 and 1/2 by 19 and 1/2 inches; the glass area is 11 and 1/2 by 17 and 1/2 inches. Not sure of age but would place it from the 1950s. All the foil is in place and the glass surface shows minimal use with no large or deep scratches. No identifying marks; probably had a paper or ...
